Teachers of Tomorrow is a club at UCI that is sponspored by the School of Education. Teachers of Tomorrow, or ToT, seeks to provide ways to learn more about teaching; as well as, serving at a club where other undergradutes who are interested in a career dealing with education can meet one another. We offer a variety of academic and social activities for students who are planning careers in education. Whether they want to become a teacher or create state curriculum for schools, we do our best to help students understand the next steps to take.
General Meetings include: speacial presentations by the School of Education, guest speakers, and general information of current issues in education. Some information that might be discussed in meetings are school testing, credential programs, and graduate school programs. We also offer weekly information on volunteer/job opportunities in getting experience in working the field. So if you're an Education sciences major or minor that is struggling to find ways to meet your field hours requirement, come by during our weekly meetings on ways you can complete your requirements. You can even ask our board members for advice!!
Education policies are changing all the time, but this club is a great resource to stay up to date on these issues.
Teachers of Tomorrow at UC Irvine welcomes students of ALL majors, concentrations and grade-levels who are interested in the field of Education. Our aim is to promote academic and professional success.*
As of Spring 24, TOT will be meeting every Wednesday from 6:30-7:20PM in Humanities Hall 112. We hope to see you there!
* We'd like to think it's also a great way to relax and bond with peers who have the same interests as you!! <3
